Tutorial: Greek Column with Ivy E-mail

Just uploaded a new tutorial, it covers how to create a Greek "Ionic" column, creating/applying a marble texture to it. Then it goes over creating the vines/ivy by using the curves function along with the "shrinkwrap" modifier, and the "tree from curves" script.

Well, the site is pretty well up and running now; I'm still adding content, but that will be an ongoing thing. I think I'm happy with the style and layout, but don't be surprised if you visit and see a few different styles popping around :D

As Paul McCartney did with the Beatles, I'm branching off on my own to see how well I can make it. I'm open to suggestions for tutorials, but just know that there are still some things in Blender that even I don't know how to do :D

Johnny Blender going digital E-mail

Lulu.com has been pretty good to me so far; but I have had a few people come to me with complaints of slow delivery and lack of good customer service. So here's what I'm gonna do: Johnny Blender is coming online in Digital Form; you'll be able to download individual episodes (higher resolution) or you'll be able to get the full DVD via digital download. You'll still be able to get the DVD from Lulu, if you're one of those "need it in physical form" kind of people (I know I am). So stay tuned, it'll be available in the "Bundles" section.
